Smartphone is all you need

The Latin root pondus means weight, but also considered evaluation: that which deserves to be measured with care. PondiFarm carries this idea into the modern farm. Our mobile application allows farmers, veterinarians and zootechnicians to obtain a reliable weight estimate of any livestock animal in seconds, by simply pointing a standard smartphone at the animal.

Traditional weighing is operationally costly, stressful for the animal, and frequently inaccurate. Existing AI-based alternatives require dedicated cameras, smart collars or fixed installations that price out small and medium farms. PondiFarm eliminates all of this.

The application is designed from inception with an open, integration-ready architecture: it interoperates with the broader digital ecosystem of the modern farm, including feeding systems, herd management software, animal identification registries and precision agriculture tools. One simple device — the smartphone every farmer already owns — becomes the entry point into a precision livestock workflow.

Biosensor evidence of welfare

A biosensor research laboratory provides ad-hoc sensors to objectively quantify the differential stress response between conventional and PondiFarm-based weighing, converting the welfare claim from narrative into instrument-based scientific evidence.

Veterinary One Health validation

A veterinary university faculty operating under the One Health framework delivers independent scientific validation of the welfare and physiological dimensions of the methodology.

Zootechnical field expertise

A polytechnic agricultural school provides zootechnical field expertise and access to a regional network of professional beef-cattle producers, enabling structured deployment under real operating conditions.

Commercial pilot site

A leading Limousine breeder serves as the commercial pilot, ensuring validation on a high-value European cattle breed of reference, with documented economic and welfare relevance.
